This months update :

Finally spoke to Herr Schulze today; they send the mould for the camcovers to a specialised shop early December to have it reworked. The thing hasn't come back yet; when it does he will send it off to company who make the rough camcovers. If the first proto's are good he will order the last 20.
After delivery, they will have to finish the camcovers and have them painted.
With their progress the last year I guess it could take several months until all camcovers are ready.
Sorry, wish I could tell you good news for a change ...

Another update with good and bad news ...
The good news is I received an email from Heinz the Seller today!!!
The bad news is the next batch of camcovers will be available from May onwards AND that because they made some "design-changes" (his words) the to-be-delivered camcovers will be more expensive , they will be 154,70 euro each + P&P. That should be approx. £150 .

I asked what the design changes will be and he answered (yes 2 emails in 1 day ...) that these were superficial: some changes to the manufacturability (quality) and to the finish of the covers. I guess they had too much rework to do on the last batches.

Please don't shoot the messenger, or taffr!
What do you (who have put an order in with taffr but didn't receive one yet) want to do??
Send in the armed forces? Propose a deal with him? Cancel the order? Pay what he is asking?

Personally having seen the product I don't think they make a large profit (if any) from making those camcovers. Also with the prices people paying for the covers on ebay they should be a good investment. (for reference the Burton alloy cover is £130)

nice one leon, looks like its gonna be another £40 per cover then, if anyone wants thier money back let me know, if not i'll pay for the batches as before and the people on the lists can pay the difference for me to put back into the fund, this way it will all work out in the end, some would have paid a few more ££££ than others but then it is going on payments recieved on the original order, £150 is still a lot cheaper than the price he charges on his site,

don't forget that all the fitting kits have arrived with me so if you want your money back you will only get your money back for the cover, as the fitting kits have all been delivered to me and payed for

Where Leon and Taffr get the energy from I don't know.
I would tell him to keep them rolling off the production line and if anyone dosen't theirs I'll have it. Even if it's blue! (but preferably not LOL)

As stated they are much cheaper than on eBay or direct from the supplier. Also should be a good investment for the future
