Yep but alot of the regular posters have dropped off and turned into so called lurkers, a few well respected people knew Paul was watching from afar without posting which must have been hard for him remember his contrubitons in the resto section. Quite surprised it took 3 months to ban him again, Pauls not everybodys cup of tea but his love for the escort marque can't be faulted as stated above.

Of course should Paul require his access to be re-instated then I have no problem in him ringing me up and asking for his access to be granted

Who cares, people buy cars, find out its not for them, and even sometimes move them on for profit, some you win, some you lose. Paul may of got lucky and found the right car/buyer, or even had his arm twisted. At the end of the day thats his business and none of ours. Plenty people buy things cheap and sell them on for profit - some in the trade, some not. Good luck to all I say.

As far as the original question was concerned Dave, I quite like welcoming newbies.....even though it is getting very frequent. The fact the site is promoted in many magazine features lately is great. The last thing they need to see when they join is bickering.

I thought the question of "certain" members being banned was to stop them causing more hassle than allowing them to carry on causing bad feeling, this is a pretty real world board and you don't get a roasting for speaking your mind as long as you're sensible with it IMO.

Which means whatever went on must have been fairly silly and unreasonable .

the way he was "working it" into a few I thought it was more sore grapes than a genuine interest in the board, as you notice it was just around the time that some on this board were appointed to positions of responsibility in the RSOC.

i think paul has been banned for long enough now i can only speak as i find and all i can say is paul as never been anything but helpful and honest to me.
i don't the know the full story of all of this but the past is the past and life is to short and slagging matches on the forum, it does no one any good especially the site it self, a site that i think we would all agree is a bloody good one and one which none of us wants to harm, just my thoughts

lost money or just broke even on both RNO and PAF granted the 18 was a tidy turn over, but he was man enough to realise to do TPM justice it needed to go to a 1800 enuithist(spl). £ signs aren't the be all and end all to him, last visit he gave me a load of freebie stuff to help with VKK not nuts and bolts but mint grill, ford light bowls rear seat etc etc put it this way the trannie was full.I know for a fact I'm not the only one to have gained from MR T stockpile of goodies. I'd rather pay near top money to him than some mug on thief-bay whose just toshed up a piece of junk,because theres always a sweetner. remember the 7s you got off him Bri?

The original seller also had every chance to sell the car for whatever paul sold it for , surley?

where is the harm in making dollar when you can?

I say unban paul let bygones be bygones . Paul is a wealth of knowledge in the mk2 community and its people like this we should welcome on this BB
