  • Lurkers, Lookers and other Non Posters !

Having found an ex-member "lurking" around on the BB

I may initiate the following new rule

ALL new members must within 30 days post in the newbie section introducing themselves

No further posts will be required after "newbie" posting

If no "newbie" post then I will close their user account

    What do you think ?

Dave is it possible to just open the newbie section up to new members..?
Once they make a post they can browse the rest of the forum..?

I think you are going too far with this personal vendetta against Paul.

In my eyes (and other well respected members of this community) you have gone overboard.

I mentioned it to you last weekend in Barnsley and you mentioned 'other people' had a problem with him and named a name (which I wont here) I have spoke to this person and he said he didnt care, it was just 'crack'

You are excluding an important person who is part of the scene from a board which 'is the scene'

      It leaves bad feeling.

Do the right thing Dave and shake hands, its Christmas.

As I have said no further posts after the newbie "hello" thread would be needed

                Sounds a good idea

I may try over the weekend to have it that only the newbie section can be posted in until at least a "hello" thread has been started etc

Once a "sensible" thread/post has been made then full use of BB will be allowed

No vendetta - a banned user is a banned user regardless of the method of Subterfuge employed !

Topaz you believe your views that I have gone overboard but I do not see any other respected community members openly supporting such views.

Do the right thing Cant remember seeing much friendly spirit on this thread at the time - http://www.classicford.co.uk/forum/v...=asc&highlight=
