looks good aled, now we need a true comparison to which one you prefer, and perhaps after a few weeks which one you think is better, both tested in the same conditions

Jee wizz Dave, now that wold be tough.

I have been asked which one is my favourite many times. I feel guilty a bit this year for ignoring the Mk2, but that's because of this years new toy !

My answer at the moment is that I love them both equally for different reasons. The Mk2 for rareness and originality .....the Mk1 for the power, performance and noise it makes (45's, Ashley exhaust etc). The Mk2 is like a Rolls Royce when comfort is considered though !.

When I take them individually to car shows, they get loads of admirers........but when I take them both together the Mk1 gets the most. I don't think I can answer the question

Lol, I was wondering whether you were planning a circuit on Top-Gear for them lol !

Forgot it was a Car-Coon thread, but yes, I will provide feedback as to their performance.

took my battery off mine and used the charger that comes with the carcoon kit, keeps the battery in top tip condition and if you get a power cut the battery takes over

Have mine done the same. (When it's up. Still in a pile at the back of the garage at the mo though and car still unwashed from Chatsworth).
