given the number of owners of anything other than Mk1/2s, how optimistic are people?

surely it's not just the odd registrar, but the no of post '80 models that have moved the focus (rightly?) away from the rear drive Escort models.

I suppose it's at least a start having good people as the registrars but I don't know if the whole RSOC can (or should) be changed

The probably bit came from, the car hasn't seen light of day for nearly 5 years now, which is when I last had membership.

Being a member on here and getting to talk to quite a few members has given me a little inclination to start sorting the RS out and has revived my interest.

The only problem I have now is lack of finances, but my house has now sold and may be freeing some money up for use on the car. So 2008 could see the rebuild of XWN.

Most would say the car doesn't need to be on the road to be a member, but my interest had completely disappeared previously.
