Remanufacture is always gonna be a sticky point as nothing can be done with no funds in the bank.I believe JT has some ideas based around exchange items, for example you px him a set of rusty brake back plates and he sends you back by return a pair of refurbished back plates, sure JT will expand on this when he gets his head around the job.

With regard to MK2 parts it may be a case of finding out who already supplies what ,thats already out there as opposed to remanufacture, outer headlights for example are still available if you have a part number and know where to ask.

There must be stuff made by other manufacturers that fit our cars, its a case of finding it.

          cheers, Paul

It would be good if the club had a list of suppliers open to the members.I would gladly join if there's a spares contact.
I was a member of the Capri Club for years and they were fairly helpful as they sourced parts. Why not the RSOC they could add commission? to add to club funds.
My headlights are rotten and the car will eventually be put back on the road after a total rebuild. Can anyone tell me the name of the supplier? And no I haven't a part number.
              Thanks.

Valeo make them. I got a pair for 56 quid, though Brian (Banishit) may point you to cheaper.
