THE WORD ON THE STREET IS AS BELOW
Its seems a certain clan in the midlands have applied for logbooks for the cars above, they have targeted IDs that have not had their logbooks applied for over 20 years due to these cars being scrapped or out of the country.
The paperwork for STW203R is being offered with knocked up chassis/vin plate, a top plate with the chassis number stamped on it,when the car is in Germany also Boreham never stamped the top plates with chassis numbers, VHK 47S paperwork Which is alleged to have been sold for 12k, when the Monte Carlo Tarmac car still exists complete with its original shell.
Buyers beware if you buy paperwork and build a very expensive car and someone brings the original car back into the country, you are going to lose your money you paid for the paperwork, lose your expensive Rally car and spend a bit of time at her majesties pleasure.
It is a shame that scammers like this get away with these things and take away the chance for really rally fans to see the real rally cars with their proper ID on them.
Please spread the word and stop these people !!!!!
