RSOC MK2 Registrar lets get behind one man

I agree BJ ,along with gary simpson,hoarder,ruddy I could go on,there all know there stuff,but at the end of the day who wants to take it on?
no matter who gets it I think we need sub regis,so they can work with the mk2 regi,
i.e,when i needed to get the moggy valued I rang the travler regi up but he lived down south,he put me in touch with the north-east regi who came out looked at the car then spoke to each other and gave me the value!
think this needed across the the rsoc not just the mk2s!

well officially the registrar if a car is to far away could always ask one of the other registrars to look at it if they are close by and feedback on the phone or via email prior to a valuation being given, there is also the option that if you want the car valued and the reg is willing to travel that the owner picks up any expenses incurred travelling to and from for the registrar

doesnt the reggy get paid expensive to travel to 3 local group shows in the year?

yeah plus National Day if I am correct but I am not certain I never claim for anything apart from my room at national day and if I go to shows I do not claim for that either as I would be going anyway so dont see the point in taking monies away from the club unless it was for specific club business away from a show like doing a stock take at Dover etc then I do claim but for going somewhere I was going to go anyway just does not sit right with me personally

out of the 3 that you lot think should get the job, theres only one for me and that's Dave R, he's the only one thats owned a mk2 for the longest and ill be voting and having my say at the AGM !!!!!!

I vote for ruddy coz he's got more time. Only ever met Dave O'Neil, top fella and would have no problem voting for the others but I feel Ruddy has more time to devote to the role. Just my opinion.....

Paul Ruddy or Ders or both...... Like most other classic clubs as Paul Spence said, would be good to have a couple. 1 for Scotland and the North, Other for the Midlands and the south. (I know Ruddy's also from the North but hey, Top banana)
