thanks guys for the warm welcome


and there I was wondering whether I had been forgotten. As some of you might had known that I had FMC.... for over 20 yrs and over that time made many great friends and have them even to this day. Without a doubt it was the biggest mistake of my life getting rid of her, but unfortunately she had to go, as I found a new lease of life, that being the Nurburgring.


Many of you guys can understand me when you have put so much money and time into a car when you start to drive them like they should be driven there is always that factor of crashing and when you are thinking about what if whilst you are driving "The Ring" you will crash......trust me !


I now drive a replica work Subaru...........yes stickers and all, as I find this can take the all punishment I can give it, and having no driving talent helps alot !!!! I have had quite a few off's at "The Ring" and it sends shivers down my spine thinking if I was driving FMC she would have been in the scrap yard by now, which in all honesty would have broken my heart.


MK2's and of course not forgetting the infamous RS 1800's will always be and remain in my blood There is hardly a week that goes by without me looking at my MK2 rally model collection ( over 80 of them ) and thinking if only ...................


My Subaru is now in my garage awaiting an engine rebuild which will take a few months and in this time I am going to have to make a decision as to where my future lies with the Subaru or with which my heart tells me.


Anyway guys, thank you for such a warm welcome I have now found a new great website which I can look at, and see all the cars that I bring such great memories and think ...............ONE DAY, I MIGHT WELL BE BACK TO WHERE I BELONG...............


Last but least , if any of you are thinking about coming over to the Nurburgring and need any help what so ever with hotels, tours, karting ( at Schumachers kart centre : ) )
and of course not forgetting the best places for the beer ( as if there any bad places ) please let me know.
