I was going to say the same thing.
Being into modelling I think this could be an option.
well you'll soon be able to pack in your day job, as you know the Escort fraternity like paying f@@k knows what for little bits of rubber maybe you can recycle some "rubber" and make 2K a week on the Bay soon

All well and good moaning about prices ,but to me you set yourself a price if it goes over you wait for the next one.
I dont hear to many saying about great deals they have had .
I got a very nice 3 spoke wheel with centre and fiesta boss for the reasonable price of £2 at a car boot and i know of another user who paid a pound for a steering wheel which sold on ebay for £100+ (non escort).
These good deals do happen and soften the high prices you sometimes have to pay for a part thats needed.
Worth getting up early on a Sunday for the old car boot Neil, don't forget the 40s for £2. People forget about them as a source of spares etc, plus no snippers and Little Paul telling everyone what you've secretly found tucked away in the bottom of a box
if fords had the same faith in their older cars as mg/rover have we would have most items available.e-bay is where everyone guages the prices of their own parts from.what ever the highest price is,that's what they think theirs is worth, forgetting the fact that 2 people bid up to that price on a certain day when they both wanted a part.another day another price.the words bargain and e-bay rarely go together these days.there will always be people with open cheques who the normal person can never compete with,it's the same with all popular cars.now where did i put that new 3 door cossie steering wheel
what i need is a high horse like the others have !
im not boasting or hoarding as these will eventually end up on my cars, if i was offered big money for them it would be a difficult situation not to let them go but then the 18s would be off the road for even longer, so i think i would have to keep them for that reason

Alastair put them in the for sale section again. I know you paid £50 for them so even though many will think they are expensive you only getting your money back.
