now i may well get banned for this post ...this is in no means written to offend anyone as i know some people are really against none ford engines in escorts and alike...

i have just bought an mk2 escort with a C20XE and ....wow its is truly awsome. I know alot of the rally boys use them.

Just wondered what peoples opinions are on this?

C20XE best 2L engine going, blows the Zetec into the weeds, fab mota, easily tunable up to 300 bhp without a blower. Ask the Vectra BTCC boyz

yeah if you have shed loads of money. 240 bhp is a more accurate figure for sensible money.
