  • Old Photos Out of loft

Gents , bear with me on this , nuclear engineer by trade but this picture lark takes a bit of sorting out . Been in the loft and dug out photos from shows many years ago , no scanner hence digi photo of original print (!).
If you think the quality is upto looking at I will put some more up. Below should be a print of a yellow RS2 , this was taken at Burghly House in 88 I think , this was the first MK2 to start doing the shows with full leather trim.

Apologies , I know the quality is bad but that last one was awful , this next one belonged to a guy called Steve Brindley who was an official of the club in the early 80's , think he sold the Regalia , I also have a feeling Ders looked at this car several years ago when it was for sale

                Hi Paul,
yes youre right i went to buy Steve Brindleys car around 87/88. I travelled to Stafford from home in Glasgow but was very disappointed with it. He was asking around £4,500, it had a leaking sunroof, several other faults. Needless to say i never bought it.
As for JSD 35W, Angus still owns it to this day but is in poor condition from what i have heard.

I have several hundred pics of RS`s in the 80/90`s will post some once i figure out how!

HRS901V , Signal red for those of you in black and white , came from Scotland and was very nice , eventually stripped for rebuild but rotted away in someones garden (no names mentioned) and I believe broke in two when it was tried to move it , never mind the trim was mint and I bought it. Then I sold it on to Mr. Hoarder , its a small world.

Very early picture of Paul Baileys Cossie MK2 when it was still a nice straight road car , this is now an all or nothing X-packed track car. Stanford Hall 89 ish (?)
