paul you have me in tears ,i used to own HRS 901V my favourite all time car,it broke my heart when i went to see it again after all those years it did indeed break in two after standing outside for ten or so years. You may recall me and Ders coming down to visit the cumbria group just for a run had a pint or two with you and i think russell.I went to stafford with Ders to view steve brindleys car we could write a book on the many, many heaps we travelled to view all over the uk every weekend.I remember the fun we had in the club in those days and your pictures of drayton manor, stanford hall, lowther park bring many good memories flooding back.Ask Ders to recall some of them as i am sure no one would believe us.I sold HRS to buy a midnight blue mk2 UFS 373Y imported from the isle of man in 1983.i have plenty photos too but dont know how to put them up
I remember the time you came down to our local meet , that must've been about 88/89 , I still had KEC the Riviera blue 2000 . I have added a pic below of UFS taken at Hopetoun House in the early 90's I would think. Nice to hear from the old skool and I hope I am not remembered for the wrong reasons !!!!!!!
