paul,i really cant be bothered to go over it again m8, but yes, it was a gentlemans agreement between the owners of both houses years ago -the garage is over 30 years old and the council even installed a dropped curb (but no records exsit ant more) so you have perscriptive rights, once somethings been given it cant be taken back, is the short answer.
even though he shouldnt have put it up,i'm in the wrong if i remove it.
but the time for me taking a chain saw to it is getting nearer and nearer.
its really grinding me down m8 but i dont want to dwell on it to much as there are people on here who are having more problems than me at the moment.

Vinny don't let him wear you down.
Don't worry about the car mate I fully understand.

Why don't you go to church this Sunday (good aliby) while a couple of your mates take down the fence.
When you get home no one knows anything.

As I said on Brians thread there's always someone worse off than yourself.
                        Mark....

cheers mark, thanks for being understanding.
i WILL have a mk1 mex again - if not off you off someone.
i have to play it by the book as long as possible - but who knows what drives a man to lose it completely and do something he wont regret
