are your wings too close, they are supposed to be tightish so adding some tension to the inner wings but thats a bit too tight

My Gartrac item went straight on

Slight tension was apparent as I equally tightened all bolts (similar sequence to doing a headgasket)

Oh dear, that doesn't look good Lee. Last one I fitted was adjustable so had no problems. You really seem to attract these shoddy parts...

                    thats a bummer lee,

it should be under a little tension any way as said, give them a ring to see if theyve had any fitment queries

yes kev, i do seem to get all the tat

dave, i've emailed them with pictures and requested a way forward, i may be able to exert enough force to get it to fit, but then my inner wings will be under tension, and i'll suffer fatigue fractures before long??

my mate has a std mk2 without the reinforcing plates, so i'll see if it'll fit his, i bet it does without the added thickness.

jack the front up and see if the inner wing move/reflax when they are off the ground

get a jack and jack the inner wings outwards, till it fits , car may handle bit odd then though

                                bit of bad luck there,
