Tell you what Paul, if you love Tesco so much, next time you go in, when you finally get to the checkout and the spotty yoof (earning £4.80 p/h) asks you for your money, why don't you ask him/her if you can pay your bill in 120 days time just like they do with their suppliers. Then you can use that money that you don't have to pay now to offer a credit card to someone who shouldn't be taking a loan because they can't afford to pay it back.

Every little bit more of your money
helps us increase our already bloated
profits and screw you without you
          even realising it.

And don't even get me started on

I mean, what company needs to make
savings by moving its call centres to
India just to increase on last years
          £11.2bn profit ?

lol......i know what mean....but what can we do about it....

i try to use local butchers, as i am a big fan of proper meat, but they all keep closing down so occasionally, we buy from here. well reccommended

You and I can be happy in our own little non-tesco world then Lee in the informed knowledge that we are not being shafted and taken advantage of

as i don't have a butcher near me only in town 6 mile away and i'm not going there just to get my pork chop's

tesco just makes it easy for us

You're telling me that Tesco at Larkfield is closer to you in East Malling than West Malling town centre is ? I cannot believe there is no local butcher in West Malling....

Granted you may have to travel 10 minutes more in the car to get there but it is better than being a slave to the supermarket.

thats the thing arron to get to town takes 35 mins with the traffic we get

west malling don't have a butcher anymore as there is another small tesco there.....lol

so you see if i want better meat i have got to drive 35 mins and 6 mile then a walk in the town just to get my chop's.....now if we go into town to get other stuff then we do get our meat from j.c.rook's...and it's allways better than tesco but i don't like maidstone town and never will

thats why i want to move to wiltshire or dorset where you can get even better food and better ppl....as i think the ppl in kent "not all of you" but most of them are wan*ers and dorset ppl may talk funny but what a place to live with better meat than anywhere i have ever seen.

just to bring it back to the thread for a split second chaps, i suppose if i pushed the boat out and bought Chatsworth House, i could just push it out into the back garden

LIDL has recently become our place to shop ,good quality and cheap,we even travel 15 miles to shop when there is a Netto 500 yards away ,but their unbranded stuff is sh1t and expensive.Still use Morrisons frequently.
Have to agree with Arrons view on this though.

If Ian shops at Lidl saves some money he can buy the new trailer and do weekly shopping trips for everyone for a small charge and deliver it like Tesco do,therefore the trailer will pay for its self before it gets used to put a car in it.Have to be careful the curry packets don't leak and the smell contaminate the Beta cloth, would loose points for that.
