    tesco for me
I agree that they are great for the consumer but have you given any thought as to how they are slowly creeping in to control so many aspects of our lives. In addition, you try and be a supplier to them, it's an absolute nightmare, they want your profits, your suppliers profits, your suppliers suppliers profits etc. etc. ad infinitum - they are one of the main reasons why manufacturing in the UK has died a death over the last 10 years.

Trouble is most people like yourself only ever see what's in front of you in respect of organisations such as Tesco/Sainsbury/Walmart (Asda) - if you had the opportunity to look behind the scenes you'd never go there again !

i know what there like i worked for them on a night shift in the back store

i just like the quality of food they offer. we did shop at asda but there foor is cheap sh*t of cuts and i don't like most of there stuff

like i say i do shop at lidl aswell only for the items they have in there sale bins. the thing with tesco is that you can get allmost anything you want there now....it's so easy....

don't you think it's funny how a conversation ends up on here.....lol

from ian asking about a trailer to shoping at tesco...pmsl.

You really think the quality is good Paul ? I think it's shite myself. Try finding yourself a good local butcher for instance - their meat will be a million miles better than the rubbish in Tesco that's injected full of salty water and preservatives. One of my customers has a friend that works for a food manufacturing company that supplies Tesco amongst other supermarkets. This guy took my customer into his factory where he showed him that they have one line of equipment putting reasonable quality ingredients into other supermarkets food and a completely separate line putting cheap and nasty rubbish into Tesco products - the reason, well it's because Tesco are so bloody greedy for profit that they have squeezed the purchase price of all the products bought from this company to such an extent that this is the only option for them.

Unfortunately (and I'm not having a dig at you specifically here) you are typical of the majority of the populace that has been brainwashed into thinking that Tesco offers good value for money.

Wouldn't dream of going to such places.....I buy all my meat and veg from local suppliers - it's just as cheap as Tesco but far better quality. I use the supermarkets only for other stuff like fags, booze, detergents, plastic bags etc. etc.
