    Ordered a small part from Burtons on Tuesday , guy says it will be with me on Thursday.
    Thursday , no part.
    Friday , post comes , no part.
    Ring Burtons, "Yes the part was posted out to number 8 *****" , right town wrong address .
    Burtons " Leave it with us I'll get back to you"
    5 minutes later phone rings "Hello this is Burtons , I think we have sent you a parcel by mistake"
    Me " No, I am the person who paid for the parcel who hasn't received the parcel"
    Burtons "Oh .......we've got your phone number and your credit card details logged against someone elses account"

    Well I wasn't pleased so I told Burtons to get it sorted and send me another part and delete all my info from their system. I then went round to the other address where the part had gone and left a note with my phone number explaining that they might have a part for me. That evening a guy rings and says he did have the part but he had put it back in the post to Burtons the same day.

    Saturday...still no part from Burtons , then my wife rings , the guy from the other address had been on the phone (after going through his bin to find my phone number which he had torn up)and said another parcel had arrived from Burtons , was it the original one back again , was it shit , Burtons had sent the second one to the wrong address again with a note saying sorry sent to the wrong address first time !!!

    The part was only small and not worth a lot of money , the guy who it went to wrongly was a nice old gent who went out of his way to help , I had to make two trips across town to locate the part , Burtons had the money in the bank the day I ordered the part ...........I will be talking to Andy Burton on Monday.

      Let me tell you a shortend story from last week, rang Burtons, spoke to Chris in sales ref Dizzy refurb, explained i didn,t want a replacement,i wanted mine refurbed because of year stamp etc, he said and i quote "it,ll take to long to set up on the computer", i replied "i,m not really concerned how long it,ll take you to set up, please do it that way", with that he said and i quote again........................."f-ck you" and put the phone down, i couldn,t believe what i,d heard, with that i picked the phone up and demanded to speak to Steve Burton, finally i got through to him, explained, i was gobsmacked the way i,d been spoken to and i quoted word for word and felt he needed to be made aware of the way his staff were speaking to people. He couldn,t apologise enough and told me he would investigate it. Within 24h i,d got a written apology from Steve, and as a token of good will, my dizzy would be refurbed and rebuilt... FOC !!.

        i have always felt that burtons staff can't be arsed
        what i need is a high horse like the others have !

            same here , ive had probs with them in the past too

            the above 2 problems are absolutly shocking though , if i owned a shop and i heard that one of my staff had said **** you to a customer it would have to be instant sack for them

              when ever they have ****ed up my orders, they have been nice as pie.......LOL i can see a pattern of mistakes forming. perhaps there should be a poll to see if they have ever got it right first time??

                they sent me the wrong stuff before now, so have rally design too, and this was after me stating and repeating to make sure they understood too


                I call Reter Lloyd rallying a couple of years ago and was told to **** OFF by one of their staff !!

                  I never had any probs with Burtons myself. I ordered stuff from then last
                  tuesday and noting yet so hopefully it will be ere on mon. As for rally
                  I don't think i've ever got a complete order either stuff missing our giving
                  me over and above what I ordered. The best was Hi-spec I got a free set
                  of alloy hubs built up with bearings and studs FOC cause they never put
                  it on the bill .

                            I ordered a fuel pump and regulator from Rally Design at about 2pm a couple of weeks ago and it was delivered at 7.30am next morning. Nice guy who took my order over the phone and the parts came all safely wrapped up. I can't fault them or their service.
