JMR425W Resto, the long haul begins

Thought i'd post a few pics of my dec 1980 biege rs2 resto.
She arrived on thursday(cheers dave) she solid in lots of places but has had a few dodgy repairs carried out so its a case of removing them and re-doing.
Still cant decide whether to change the colour (as its growing on me) but definatley going to flat front her.
Going for a nice road car and not a concourse resto.
She already has a 2.1 on 45's with billies all round, quick rack and 5 speed box so i havernt goto worry about that

If it were mine and it was not going to be a show car i would change the colour to white and flat front it

why's that then m8, i cant really see a prob if you change colour but still keep it to what mk2 rs colour was available at the time

just wondered what most peeps would do really kev, may be different a biege flat front rs2 ?

interior is the dark chocolate, doors cards are ok,
But have been offered a nice set of roll tops with black uncut custom door cards so the worlds my oyster
