There is a slight bulge on one of the wings that needs sorting

The time spent ensuring all the panels fit correctly was well spent - as the gaps between the bonnet, doors etc. are fairly consistence - with only minor adjustments now needed

Either ways you clearly have the skills to sort the issue out but hope it is just the angle.
A combination of a number of problems mainly with the inner wing - wing mounting rail at the wrong angle.

But also the flitch panel needed some work mostly around where it mates with the inner wing - wing mounting rail.

Finally where the wing meets the front panel.

I'm replacing the door sills - so have yet to find what alignment problems there will be.

All looking good, the flitch plates should be ok to modify but good to hear the inner wing issue is just a matter of addressing the angle.

          Really moving on now.

Now that we're happy with the panel alignments and gap lines time to start the mammoth task of welding all the panels in place.

Firstly boot Floor and rear turrets welded in position.

The media blasting also uncovered a few problems with the rear corner which needed repairing.

Some small patches were used to fill the holes

Discovered another problem with the pattern part rear panel.

The rear bumper brackets mounting points will need some work to line up correctly.

Luckily we have an another Escort that we can use to ensure that we are placing the brackets in the correct place, so definitely a pattern part problem.
