There may be problems with the gap lines and alignment of the wing will also be more difficult. In my opinion it would well worth spending the time teasing the wing rail down into the correct position before the wings are fitted.

That sound good, hope it is just the angle as I have this work to do on my rs too later.
Either ways you clearly have the skills to sort the issue out but hope it is just the angle.

A fair amount of work has gone into ensuring the wings sit correctly on the car.
Firstly the inner wing mounting rails were at the wrong angle - these were 'tapped' into the correct position.
The self tapping screws are used to hold the wing in position as 'adjustments' are made. These will be removed once the wing is welded into its final position.
