That is some car you have there Are those genuine Ford/DeCarbon gas-pressure rear shocks?

Are those the ET5 6J alloys as 7s were a Capri fitment (not Escort), only the 7.5J Ronals were Escort fitment (or the ET5 6J wheels)?
I take my hat off to you, it's absolutely beautiful in green

        stunning car
only thing is your trumpets are too long. i lost 10 horse power with that length they end up too close to the bonnet
went for a rolling road session and it was down on power, popped the bonnet instant extra 10 horses

Just back from NEC show, few little things to finish the car off, Brake pipes on servo tower to be re-fitted correctly, Correct Escort badge on boot, new front screen, original Ford IDF's to be sent away and refurbished and then fitted, new thermostat housing then away until next year.

Car looked mint on Saturday Mickey. Better than new.

Better than new describes it perfectly.
And, yes when are going to drive this?
Too shiney, too perfect, better than new, so probably never.
Same as the Worthers car but not as perfect detail wise.
Not my cup of tea, build the car then use it like AlancDavies does.
