Yes tony, luckily they over laid it to so there was more arch under that!
When putting in any panel its best to join at a lip that protrudes not intrudes as you stated not on a flat section if possible either.

Airfix kit! Good to see a thorough job being done, I love seeing these restos all the best with it. It's also good to see the selection of panels that are now available.

Wow! I'll be watching this one closely. I used to own a Harrier back in the early 90,s. Good to see another one being saved & repaired properly.
              Keep up the good work.

All panels are magnum and taking measurements frim them, they are not bad.

Ill let you know how we get on as i go along. Some parts of the shell would have repaired but i plan to keep this car so id rather replace instead of repair,
All new panels were stripped today.

                      Jig

The gig has been made from original measurements and we are offering it to the shell to see fitment, suprisingly good.

But adding many more key points to it.

Soon be time to start cutting

Some past shocking repairs but like somebody once said its probably down to these repairs that kept this car on tne road, so we could almost thank them. Looking forwards to the build :-)

                            Trucking on with braces

For all points possible, bit over the top but will come in handy.
