here,s a few pics of a sport that i,ve recently stripped and rebuilt for a customer its a good car that needed a lot of small jobs doing so the decision was taken to strip the complete car and re do wiring, plumbing, fuel lines, re do interior ,boot, engine bay,5 speed conversion, fit rear seat as it had turrets and 4 link boxes, narrow rear axle for 7.5 inch alloys and lots of other jobs,

Car looks good Damien did you have to remove link boxes to fit back seat?

I did.nt have to remove 4 link boxes I had to re shape the corners of the rear seat upper frame to fit around the turrets and I had to re make and change the fixing points of the bottom half of the rear seat, I then got a new cover from Aldridge and fitted it and the result is quite good as it looks totally stock the way it was suppose to do at looking from inside of the car, it does,nt feel any different to sit in compared to a standard escort,

looks really nice now with the back seat done you would never know it still had the turrets yes am not so keen on wide wheels with the elastic band tyres but its seems to be all the rage ,but each to there own i think the ride is a little bit harsher with lower profile tyres ,very clean looking car though
