car arrived today(thanks dave) so had a quick look around it before rain stopped play.genuine 1978 mex,in bits. my plan is to build it as a good useable road car.has a 1.6 and 4 speed with it, but wil go 2litre with it.
FRONT END- needs new front panel, wings, heater bubble, inners very good, small repair to a-posts, cross member bolts sorted(stripped in chassis)
MIDDLE- small repairs to front foot wells. bottom of both doors need attention. rear of sills need a repair.
REAR-needs spair wheel well and petrol tank well sorted.rear panel needs slight attention.
overall chassis looks ok, but will probably find plenty of work to do.no timescale on it really,will see how it goes.
