Progress made in the past 2 weeks on the fiesta.....

First we cut off the front panel in order to check for rust and luckily its all good then test fitted the new one





Then we clamped the drivers side wing on



We sanded all the paint off around the arch as the arch had lost shape due to filler and there is also no rust there then started to flat back the rear quarter. The sill is also completely solid too




Ive taken most of the badges off and took the rear lights out




We have took out all the glass and stripped the doors down

Small update on the fiesta this weekend...

First we welded in the plate for the floor and sprayed some primer on



Next we put the drivers door back on and began to sand it down



Then we welded in the inner wing panel and a small plate next to it

Not updated for a while but we've done quite a lot since i last posted.

My dads fabricated a new inner wing top panel as someone had welded a plate in over the original.







We also decided to put in an inner wing panel on the passenger side so now the old wing has been cut off too





I've now got some genuine supersport alloys thanks to Darren (Pieman01) they do need a refurb but i have used some paint stripper and they seem pretty good





The inner wings now also have Shultz, primer and paint on now





The front panel is now welded on and the wings are lined up ready for welding on which will be the next job

Update on the fiesta.

We've now got front panel and wings all welded on. Now the front end of the car is primed.





The roof is all sanded down to original paint. So in a few weeks it should be prepped for primer hopefully



More progress soon...

Not updated on here for a while but today we got the whole shell ready for paint today and even got under the bonnet and inner wings in paint







Looks a lot brighter and orange in the flesh, should have the rest of the car painted tomorrow
