New Brackets
Finally got some of these brackets that go on the A post splash panel. Had to get them made in the end as could not get any anywhere. Been holding the job up getting these sorted , but pleased i've got some now even though you don't really see them. Does anyone know what purpose they serve? I heard they were used by Ford to lift the shell up when on production line prior to wings being fitted.....

I asked a while ago and all anyone come up with was they gave strength to the panel!
Would seem a very odd place to lift a heavy shell!Comment

They look good! I cut the ones on my sport off as they were too rusty to do anything with, not replaced them with anything though. How much did they cost to have made?Comment
