A few more photos for you... I added a different boot lid to see if nice fit as mine had a lot of dints all over , so reducing filler. Also a different bonnet.
We were also trying to keep the original rear quarter but in the end it needed too much work so off it came so we could at least blast all the crap from behind it then fit the genuine one that I had....

Next stop is blasters , so panels off & see what nasties are in store.

Cheers John. i'm waiting on the photos from the guy who did the shot blasting as i went on holiday that week he did it. My paint man picked it up for me & primered it before i got back. i don't want a black hole on photos , just to keep it interesting ...

Yes mate it was full of filler & rot , i didn't want to use the panel to be honest so i could save it but at least it gave us chance to see behind it to see if anything else was lurking. Off side rear was the same as well so a new panel was put on that as well. i will load more photos in a while off the floor and chassis ...

              Car off to the Blasters

A few photos of when the car went to get shot blasted (only light) to get rid of any hidden filler or nasty stuff ....

outside waiting in original state i bought it in...

wing was full of filler , so decided not to use this as too much work needed to bring it round....

doors are not bad at all really ,not a lot of work & time needed on these..

roof has a lot of surface filler , probably from its rally days...

Not too bad really , i'll put some more panel pics up later on , don't want to bore you all to death.....

I'll give you some more then Lee mate .....

just a few mainly of the front wings , bonnet & boot lid. They all came out good , only o/s front wing was bad to be honest , so that will be replaced, either with one of the chinese replacements or a Genuine one that i've got...
Everyone let me know what you think, good or bad as i want to get this bang on !

Could do with this fan , no more overheating problems.....

I'll post some more tomorrow with work starting on back end of the car..
