Thought I would start a thread regarding my rebuild because no doubt I will need advice and help along the way!
This MK2 in question has been owned by my dad for many years now and originally started life as a 1.3L I believe.
Its been various colours and had various engines over the years but at the moment its a 2L pinto on 45's and I plan keeping it this way for now.
My dad had done a lot of work to it over the years also. Its been four linked with the box turrets, fully stripped and caged, some gussets (not sure on spelling) and some strengthening.
It has lay about now for the past 4-5 years from memory after the restoration got shelved due to personal reasons.
Its has had new floor pans and chassis legs, home made tubs and various other bits of rot removed and replaced.
It needs the front panel and wings fitted. New door skins put on. Dent in back quarter removed and the roof straightened. (was rolled at kames)
Anyway here are some pics of what I started with
The rest can be found here on dropbox
Cheers
