I have just got some pics through of the same decal kit as mine fitted to another motor.

I'll be pleased if my old nacker looks half as good as this!

You should move those mirrors before fitting the sticker kit...

A little update. The decal kit arrived last friday.I have had some rattle cans mixed up and i am going to do a couple of little repairs before i fit the stickers.

The car has been for test today and has failed on three things.
Its need a little bit of welding were the inner sill meets the bulkhead, nowt major.

The steering rack has too much play. That doesn't suprise me as there was an advisory about this when it was last tested in 2007.I need a rack but don't know which ratio to go for.Any thoughts?

It also failed for having no hazard warning lights.I thought that this was only applicable to later cars?

It was Donna Coupe. They look pretty good. They seem a little pricey until you see how much work goes into making them.I got her number from the ebay ad and rang her to arrange..and of course it was a few quid cheaper dealing direct.

all you need is a friendly mot tester n your e brake will be fine ( or leave a bung in the ashtray )

car looks bang on for a few track days ,, less time buffin ,, more time

Just got a text from my mate who has been mot'ing the car and has done a little check over...

"cars ready...just been up bolton rd and it goes really well its ****in brutall!!!!!!!!!!!"

and yes he did use that many exclamation marks..I haven't driven it yet.
                          I'm kind of excited now.

Well i finally have my car back from the mot..same old story,a mate that owed me a favour but kept putting me to the back of the queue...
Today i have made a little start with my best mate and helper,my 6 year old Joseph.
I bought him some RS overalls at national day and he has had them on nearly every day since!..absolutely priceless when the little things mean so much!!

We have been wire brushing the underside, which is suprisingly sound. Then we have have undersealed with schutz and waxoil.

I have also fitted some new "glass" as the original plastics are very old and scratched.I used a local company

The quality is awesome and just look at the price compared to other suppliers.
I fitted the front windows but i didn't have any window seals as the originals had just been sealed badly with clear silicone.
