Well the Escort was collected by its new owner this morning.Its gone to a good home in Durham and Paul has just rung me to say he got home without incident,if a little deaf....I enjoyed doing the car but i did realise two things.One is that i like to tinker with cars more than actually using them and also that i don't have as much spare time at weekends as i thought to actually use them in anger...

I think its fair to say that i could of sold this car a few times over.The way i see the market is that there are two types of cars that sell,those that are nut and bolt correct and cars like mine which are clearly a competition car and MSA booked.The mildly modified market is difficult to gauge as a special is one mans vision and that may not suit some one else.When i was looking for a mexico or rs2000 originally i would of even been put off by a totally standard car with a 5 speed box or electronic ignition even though it makes the car better to use.You could ask a dozen different people and get a dozen different views but thats mine.I will of course push any enquiries in your direction.

Been going through some of these build threads and i take my hat off to you Kas. If i had the time,space and the money that is exactly how i would want my car to look. The cossack livery is my favourite of all time and your example is Gurt Lush ( Bristol talk)
