  • Cheers all! The sound deadening pads I bought in packs of 10 at an autojumble stall & cut them to fit.

          • And made a start lining up the front panels..

            Got the doors & bonnet on, front panel & wings clamped on & held with self tapping screws temporarily..

            • It all lines up pretty well, may need a bit of tweaking here & there, & the front grille fits!

                          They fit quite well & didn't take much fiddling, clamped them up 1st then when I got them lined up drilled a few holes & held them in place with self tappers.
                          Its all got to come back off again to weld on front panel & stonechip & paint it.

                                It should paint over ok I would have thought. Just getting the back panel shape looking right, as you won't be having the strips to paint up to on your earlier model!

                                Looking great with the panels in place, I may say!
