    dug the rs out of the garage today after having it painted about 6 years ago yes 6 years and i am as still disappointed with it now as when i first got it back ,anyway got a new engine for it so i am now going to get my a**e into gear and get things moving first thing to do is get it re painted ,

    engine

    Cylinder Head
    Fully rebuilt and assembled by Arron at HT
    New grp 2 inlet valves 45.5
    New grp 2 exhaust valves cant remember the size ops:
    New bronze guides
    New hardened valve seats for unleaded(3 angled)
    Spark plug inserts to accept bike plugs
    New HT1e cam Kit
    New vernier pulley
    Ported by HT
    Inlet manifold port matched to head by HT
    Weber twin 48's with 44mm chokes
    Sytec Alloy twin cable linkage

    Bottom end
    Bored to 93mm to make 2.1
    New 93mm Wossner forged pistons
    Cosworth conrods with new Arp bolts
    New high preasure oil pump
    New water pump
    RS Alloy sump
    Full bottom end assembley balanced
    Flywheel lightened and balanced inc clutch
    Double doweled flywheel
    New Arp flywheel bolts
    New bearings throughout
    New core plugs
    Block,pistons and head machined to give the correct compression 11.9:1 to be exact

    Think about it this way. In the past six years, the thing has gone up in value enough to pay for another paint job and then some.

      are ya just being pickie on the paint job or is it that bad???? i suppose if ya feel disheartened by it you wont build it as it will always be ****ing ya off.....get it redone and rebuild it....great to see another one on the road again

        no point it sitting there.
        one u will wake up and sell then reget later.
        a have had mines 2 years and still building it never get fed up.and my other car a had took 10 years to build.

              no i was going to make a few calls to day as i have been working late all this week getting home between 9.30 & 8.0 but i am picking up the new engine to day as i am only working till 3.30 so will be home nice and early
