        • And just to be the ultimate stalker heres the pic

The amount of nights ive come home dirty, sick and tired and looked at this pick has give me a kick up the arse, I was planning on painting the car silver and going for a similar look but only with your approval....and mine will never look as good as yours

          • Got bored this afternoon as the bootfloor hadnt arrived so i decided to start stripping and cleaning the carbs, going to vapour blast the bare bodies and just wired brushed the float chambers top up for now and cleaned some brass plugs up

Then my mate rang about half 3 and said he was nearly at home so ended up getting this

Looks like its a late mk1 floor as the ovals at the back are pressed in and theres a hole for the number plate light wire at the back, its a bit rusty on the bottom but looks loads better than my one so happy days, started to stripo some of the unwanted bits off

I found this nice repair someone had done at the end of the leg at some point, loads of catty and a few bits of scotch bright shoved in the end of the leg so the catty had something to stick to lol

Luckily looks like the only bit i need to repair on the bootfloor is that little rottern bit on the return edge where back panel fits to in above pic hopefully a little more progress early next week

            • Got the rest of the lump cut down to how i wanted it tonight, removed the legs from the bootfloor and cut just behind the rear shock mount.

                        • No Davey the bootfloor came off a chap called Daniel from Liverpool that had an ad in last months classic ford it's a late mk1 bootfloor so I need to weld the number plate wire hole up at the back. Graeme only wanted to sell me a full back end but he only wanted £200 was just a bit big to post! The one I got was £100 but came with legs and a friend collected it for free
