Should be a cracking car with the fresh engine and proper paint job!!!

            Not that I know of.
When I first bought the car, there was those lead cylinder thingys in the fuel line, so I just left that in place. Not sure how effective they are..

A few more late nights and she's on the road

Still a few bits to do while im running her in, the lack of speedo is interesting although at 2500rpm 3rd is 30 mph and 2500rpm in 4th is 40 mph. Simple. Still got no temp gauge, so that needs sorting asap. Cars running sweet as a nut although too low as it's bottoming out alot, so new springs are on order. Seems to turn alot of head's and the webbers certainly make you hear it before its seen.

A huge thanks go to my dad (mr phil) on here, without his help i simply wouldnt have the car.

Thanks to ppm sales for selling me the car!

Also thanks to Larton Engine Developments for the engine build and fitting( I dont do mechanical)

Also John Wildings Bodyshop for the use of the workshop and help.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the build thread and photos.

                  Looks absolutely fab!!

You're right about the webers, sounds like a rally car comin up the road, then a fully trimmed 4 door ghia arrives!!! Love it!

A real shame she's gotta be raised up, but I guess sometimes, one has to be practical

It's still gonna be dropped a inch so won't look too much different . With being up the lakes in the some of the best road rally territory I'd like to take advantage of it and not worry about losing the sump . Turned a serious amount of heads with it these last few days
