  • Meet Winston ( more door ghia)

3 weeks ago i bought this off another board member. While the engine was being fixed i decided i would tidy up the engine bay and paint the boot lid and boot well.

Several late nights 2.8 litres of stratos silver and 3 litres of laquer combined with multiple swearwords cuts and junk food left me with the following result.

I'll put up the photos which will show the progress better than my small battred fingers can type.

    Steve

Just waiting for engine to go back in now then its back on the road !

          wrighty

there would appear to be a lack of appreciation on this post..

as you know not only did i give you the car for a bag shillings but i also stripped the car, and prepared the car for paint.

terms like "i" should be "we" and terms like " i decided i would tidy up " are not only offensive but they are lies.

unless you want to feel my squeal i would recommend you start sniffing my diff .

          ps good work babe

SON , making brews fetching food and leaning against winston with sandpaper in your hand doesn't constitute to prepping paintwork ....

Once I've showed you a thing or 2 you might be let loose with a rattle can to paint a few bits !

Until then you can sniff my diff .

Developed a nasty knock from bottom end. Had all
New bigger bearings as crank had to be ground . Also had new rings as the old ones where worn . Engine Is due back in Tuesday night so fingers crossed I can finally drive it Wednesday . I've made some more small progress , will post pictures later.
