                          • Thanks Martin, James, i managed to get a NOS earth lead and very carefully unpeal the label off the original cable, firstly cleaning it in warm soapy water, then very carefully rewrapping it around the cable and sealing it with some super glue. The live lead was a little bit more fun and games. The nylon tube, i couldn,t find anywhere, then a friend recommended me to a specialist hose company, I drove down there and a guy cut me a piece off. My friend at Aston Martin then carefully removed the starter motor end and off came the old tube, the cable was thoughly cleaned, both ends where blasted, the new nyon tube was pushed on and the connector was carefully fitted back on. Then of course all i had to do was......repeat as above with the live lead label The labels where in fact quite durable, i was just very careful not to smudge the white numbers hence the soapy water
