      • 4 link boxes cut out without too much damage, I'll add metal to the cut outs and start from square 1, using the right dimensions..!!!

I also managed to cut out one of the rear inner arches ready to fit the 15" tubs. Although I've only cut along the existing arch extensions the 15" template is smaller in certain areas so it looks like more metal adding to the quarter panels.

        • I've not had much time to work on the car due to working away from home for the past 2 Weeks, but managed to find time during the Weekends to fill in the rear floorpan ready to cut it out again to weld in the 4 link boxes in the right position. It's a lot harder to fill in than to cut it out..!!!!!

            • Now welded in both chassis skids and fabricated a couple of link box skids. That's it for the 4 link underneath, just need to weld in the crossbrace and gussets inside the shell.

              • I've made a start on the tubs this Weekend. Took my time to get the measurement right, but still managed to cut out too much from the inner quarter. Oh well added a bit more metal and now it's perfect.

Big tubs make it difficult in a small garage..!!

                Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Used a cardboard template to mark out the quarter panel and fabricated a lip ready to plug weld too.

Added some metal to the inner quarter.

                Measured twice and cut once..!!

Got this gap to sought out in the boot area, may add metal or bend the new tub out to fit.

                • I decided to fill in the rear section so that the tubs stay the same

Both tubs are now ready to be welded into place but I need to test fit the turrets and carry out more repairs around the turret to floor area. I've made a jig for the turrets to assist with measurements.
