Were you paying rental all that time ? or did you own the lock up ?
Wish I had done the same with my old escort but the council lock up rental got expensive after a while so I had to give one garage up.

was rent free for a few years, then cheap, then not so cheap, now just gone up again 'cos of VAT
just couldn't bring myself to get rid, it's only a couple of pints in £s a week
so now she's coming home and I'll let the garage go
