    YYYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH (got the struts apart)

YYYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH - the old gilr has gone to the fabricators for the links, turrets, rods, and body repairs today, how sad to see it on the trailer, how wonderfull to see an empty garage.

        Hi Bri,

Struts were driving me bonkers, the threads were damaged thus would not unscrew from the casing and with precious little space to work with it was more than i bargained for, however all done now.

time to give the garage a lick of paint. new carpet, and a general tidy up, god knows what i will find in there............

An empty garage would certainly ring my bell as it would mean the bloody resto is finished and I'm not anymore looking like a black-and-white minstrel after underseal scraping each weekend.

                          update and new pics

                          ah well,
been getting on with things lately, the car has now been sorted with all the rotten panels / sunroof etc and ready for the roll cage and other bits.
went to the local powder coaters and got some stuff done, (plenty of Bling underneath) and you may also note that i have now decided to go the full coilover route (gartrac jobbies) instead of the Capri 2.8 struts (banishit has his name on those as long as the offer is right !! , eh Brian )

pics includ full adjustable TRE, double width, adjustable platforms and springs, roller bearing top mounts, alloy hubs, etc etc just need some decent front brakes and the corners are almost complete. looking forward to putting all the nice new clean bits back on the car, then taking it out for a thrash to get them all dirty again LOL

anyway, you can see what i will be up to this weekend, assemblying all the enclosed in preperation,
