hey a bit off tidying up inside looks like when it been painted at some point some of the parts not taken out are cover in dust but am sure u will cutted out a cleaning to do and look good again .
keep up the good work m8 ...........

Aye Davey , everything in behind the dashboard has about an inch layer of dust on it . That will all be getting cleaned up. Done most of the parts so far - glovebox, instrument binnacle , dashtop , centre console etc.
Away back to Oman tomorrow so not doing anymore till i get back now

Well been back in the garage at last .
Had the breather / catch tank fitted amd also the refurbed servo pipe and new hoses. Put some new brake fluid into her but somehow have lost my 7mm spanner for the mini bleed nipples . Nevermind get one tomorrow.
Got some half price speakers and a cd player from halfrauds for her too.
Going to see the auto sparkie tomorrow to arrange when he can come and sort out the dash wiring.
Waiting for my new rear dampers to arrive hopefully this week so i can get them fitted too.

However noticed a puddle of oil on the floor under the engine that wasn`t there before . Will investigate tomorrow as it ****ed me off when i saw it so just shut the door and came in for a cuppa and a surf on here

you might want to get some heat wrap or something on the clutch cable.
wont take long to melt, looks very close to your manifold.

Well thats as far as i can g for now with the car. Going into the auto sparkie next week to get the wiring issues sorted then i get it finished.
Got some old fiesta wheels today to move the car but i had to take off the front calipers to get them to fit .
I forgot how low the car is when its off the stands
Got my 7" wheels ordered today aswell

Yeah Mike it just looks wrong However its only for gettin it to the auto sparkie workshop and back again.
Yep just about there Mike., Only really got to fill it with coolant , fit the new wheels and rear dampers when they arrive. Put the front seats back in (the missus has been cleaning them for me in the house and a cracking job too) Refit the front calipers and bleed the brakes , then fill it with petrol and take her for a wee shakedown !
Got the new throttle linkage to get fitted and the carbs to be retuned but i`ll get that sone when it goes in for its mot

So other than that not much left !!

I`ve missed aboot the last 5 as i`m offshore everytime The missus goes though and usually sits wi mo and ricky.
However this year we`ve both got cars to enter
