got a delivery of some bits and bob's today, ready to rebuild her, 2.5" exhaust, some wheels, billies and a filter king, also got a one piece prop, the postman asked if it was a multigym in the boxes, pmsl, like i need a multigym

she's home!!!!!! got a delivery from berkshire bodyshop today, all linked up with turrets and lots of new metal, back end freshly painted and awaiting the signwriter, i'm well pleased, got to get on with building her back up now, big thanks to sweep and squid at the body shop for all their hard work, it looks superb, still lots to do with little brackets here and there and some new brake lines to make, plenty to keep me going over the winter, off to beaulieu on sunday to see the original VLE and measure up for the signwriting to get painted on, anyway some pics.............

looks good son went to beaulieu 3 weeks and was drooling over VLE, always loved that car since i first saw it there back in the 80's.

some research and development taken place at Beaulieu today, Chris AKA "welshrs" went to get the sizes and colours ready to signwrite the car, spoke to the people working there and eventually got to crawl all over the original VLE, we even got the keys, worked from 11am through until 4 to get every decal covered, took over 300 pics using a referance ruler to aid with sizing up, saw some very interesting detail on the car which i will be trying to replicate on my car, all in all a top day, some pics of the team working hard, well chris anyway, baby stig got in on the action too
