  • boot refurb for VLE ..........................

no not X but R, started work a few months ago stripping paint in the boot so i can get it to the body shop for a fresh coat of white and some new metal, not touched it for ages, so i went down to the car today to get stuck in as i've booked her in to the bodyshop, just a few pics showing the boot with its gear in the back and after i've removed it, as you can see there is a bit of grinding and welding required to get her looking bright white again, i am thinking about turrets too but not made my mind up yet, see what the bodyshop say, the battery tray is coming out too and hopefully a nice period one going in, any advice?? more nitromors on sat, some pics.................

your getting there graham,a small sandblaster would`ve been ideal if you could stop the sand getting into the rest of the car.

more stripping done this week, what a fecking dirty job, almost there now, got the boot lid off the car and got the white, yellow, red, black, blue and green paint off as you can see, the old firewall is out and so too are the old bilstiens, took the interior out ready for the diff tunnel and link kit to go in, the arches are cleaned up ready to be cut to fit the turrets, so its ready for the grinder, all being well it will be at the bodyshop in the next 10 days, pics..........
