been pottering about in the engine bay, sorting some issues out including trying to stem some of the leaks LOL, wanted to replace the cam cover gasket as it was dripping into the valley and down the front of the head, and down the back come to think of it
but as the previous gasket was sealed with silicon it was a bugger to separate, so in with a skin knife i set about removing the cover, and managed to push a big chunk of cork gasket down in the timing chain housing 
did get it out tho with a piece of wire with a blob of grease on the end thank ****. all back together now just need to fit a new thermostat as the engine is a bit slow to warm up, prolly due to the four bypass holes, refit the rad and ready to fire it up again.
certainly got some nice bits in there
