Naturally with any rebuild yes it needed changing. But the ARP stud kit and anything but an elring gasket it will be fine.

just come back from seeing Dr simms to see my engine in bits everything is in superb order inside, and all the nice bits i believed to be in there were present, Burton H section rods, JE custom pistons some tidy cams and a lovelly crank double doweled and in great order needing nothing!! all the engine is having is a chemical dip so it can be repainted, hone the bores, new set of rings and big end bearings as a matter of course but frankly it could go back together with what is already there !!









probably wont see it now till its completed, but i cant bloody wait
