got some of this stuff...
Was going to get some sikaflex, but a nice chap gave me 3 tubes of this.
they bond stuff on trailer bodies with it, so should be up for sticking some arches on.

Not seen that stuff before so can't comment on its suitability. In any case you need to be obsessive with the degreasing of both of the mating surfaces before applying the adhesive.Make sure the parts are making good contact in all areas before bonding.Keep the pics coming!

Cheers Kas thats what im having fun with at mo, in trying to keep filler to a minimum the edge of the wing is sitting in the radius of the arch, which is holding the arch of the wing on the inside. so i either need to trim more of the wing so it sits higher up, or form the wing to fit arch radius.
thats tonights thoughts for tomorrow

Nice work mate is that stuff polyurathane adhesive as sikaflex tigerseal etc? Try a sample piece somewhere first wouldn't be worth doing the job twice for the sake of £30-£40 quits worth of the right stuff would it!! Car looks very nice am sure it will end up nice, also nice to see someone using newer technology and bonding arches rather than welding....we bond high tops on camper vans and it's F***ing strong stuff with no heat generated almost to good to be true!

Well glued one arch on in 8 hrs what a job making both surfaces mate up,
nearly got the spot welder out and welded them on! had to resort to a few pop rivets and grips to hold it in position, will drill rivets out and plug weld when set.
Also spotted strengthening plates on strut tops.
couple of pics

Sunday update, removed clamps and arch stayed there!
Very pleased with strength of this adhesive, stays slightly flexible to stop moisture ingress, so hopefully do the job nicely.
Couple more pics of other side done, and full frontal!
Next weekend the Rears!
