        Having a week off work, to do a bit to the old lass.
        not done a lot since last post due to wee man, fabricated new tank well outer panel and fitted.

                      As i have done away with fuel, temp etc with fitting 1600e clocks, knocked up a holder for gauges and original mk1 switches, same dimensions as ashtray switch panel that its going to replace, so hopefully won't look to out of place.



                      O and couldnt resit a pic of veiw up to workshop!

                            Got gauge panel finished of, bought some rivnuts to hold front on first time used them and not the last, spot on job
                            Put a bit of satin black on to match rest of dash.
                            Then made a big incission!





                            Trial fitted new full length top panel, needs inner wing trimming down more to butt up to top plate, then a bit of weld



                            Well pleased with quality of fit of express panels.
                            If anyone has some switches lying around in better order give us a shout cheers martin
