    You're doing a sterling job there. Why not save the scrap pile, weight it in when you've finished and buy yourself a few beers with the profits?

                      hi a wee update on this project .
                      second hand spring hanger bracket has been sorced from a four door so cut out enought i needed lost the joint thu the bump below the bump stop bracket .other joing lost where the middle chassi rail finsh to rear spring hander etc.and now weld in .when a cut the old section off it fell apart thank god for rust sometimes it makes the job alot easyer.
                      all welding now finshed underneath of my rs .2k filler primer has been added and all joints seam sealed etc will have stonechip added soon .
                      my outer sills have to be added and still need to go and pick my doors up from a freind then wings can be fitted and line the bonnet up also .....
                      engine bay is in 2k filler primer ,also added is the bubble and window grid etc .new strut strenther weld on bout from express steel panels not cheap but look the job tho.

                      will added picks nr end of the week guys .

                        Good Lord! That was a grim shell when you started. All power to you buddy. Don't you just LOVE seeing these cars being brought back to life.........Looking forward to seeing this in paint. WELL DONE

                              Your a very brave man to tackle that but I take my hat off to you for tackling a car like that and saving another cherished Escort. Well done so far mate I wish I was has skilled has you are mate top work.
