Done a bit more. 4 hours to make some holes bigger.
The front panel had 2 small'ish holes at the bottom for the rad cooling. As i'm fitting an intercooler in, i need more air. So a bit of cutting and they were opened up. But they looked crap.
      Small old openings

      Cut out

So the rolled edges were fitted back in to make it look better.

      Then the intercooler fitted behind.

Then a play about with some throttle bodies i got. Removed the secondary chokes and stripped them down as they need to be spaced out about 65mm to line up with the manifold better. Then weld up the conector flange and pipework.

Rear chassis rail had been repaired before and then fiberglassed over and filled ?? So the rubbish has been removed and cleaned up.

Arch was not too good either so that’s been changed.

                  Drivers side arch clean up.

Tramp bar brackets fitted and skids welded in.

Some chassis repairs and a new section put in. Also seam welded.

Etch filler on inner wings. Strut top plates still to be fitted.

Drivers door bottom had rotted a bit so skin off and repair.

                  Trim holes filled

Passenger and drivers sides in etch filler

Lower ¼ rippled due to heat and previous damage.

Floor in etch filler then some sealer

                  Starting to take shape

                  Front end lined up

                  Boot and bonnet clean up

More fine work from Garage West

                      Filler and dent reduction.

Finally some paint going on. Starts to make thinks look better.

Axle back in and rear back on the ground.

                      More dent work.

                      Grill dent removed.

Group 4 top plates, not seam welding the edges yet.
