Had a nightmare day with my friend "Ashley" today. Nothing would fit properly to say the least. Cross over pipe was p1ssed and wanted to join onto my diff!!!!! (See pics) Rang Brian Ashley himself and he suggested it might be down to me fitting a WCXM????? This system is supposed to fit with one......... Anyway, he is a very nice man and offered to change it if I wasn't happy. I took a long hard look at it and made the decision that I will "Make it fit" one way or another. So after a lot of pulling this way and that to try and bend it into some sort of form that would resemble an exhaust I managed it. Now, all of the nightmare jobs I wasn't looking forward to (X member, Manifold and Exhaust) are done at last. (Bet the sodding thing blows when I start it up)

Also, put my Steering rack on with new Poly Bushes and mounts,Bolts,Lock Tabs and track rod ends. Another pain to fit with Poly's and had to glue them into place so I could fit the brackets........ Next Car I do will be standard LOL!

should of gone for a RH exit exhaust, just drill a few holes here a few holes there and job done

Anyway everyone knows his exhausts don't fit and you have to mod them, just a same he doesn't do it at the factory before selling them

But the Red Rocket is looking good young man

Ashley offer this as an option on their manifolds for £40 extra. Tis an aluminium coating

Kev, squires do a longer clutch cable with heat reflecting sleeve for about £20!
When you put your tower back on try to cover the cotter pins (with the nylon bushes on with heat reflector ! I've melted all mine and can't find replacements! Am having to have cap head bolts machined to fit! Also i'm just fitting corsa power steering and noticed the new bulkhead bush has gone hard and some of the internal sealer has melted I'm heat shielding that to! Have also wrapped my brake lines on inner wing and bulkhead!
Coating looks good, that should help!
